Basic COVID19 procedure: Protecting you during your stay
Our number one priority is your health, safety and well-being.
Rest assured, our team has been monitoring the evolving global impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID19) and are paying close attention to recommendations from NKT and Health Montenegro as we take every additional measure to ensure your safety and protection while you stay with us.
We wanted to update you on the actions we have taken in response to the outbreak.
As always, we take great care in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our hotels and restaurants.
We have supplemented these normal procedures with additional COVID-19 cleanliness-specific guidance, training and information to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous:
- Our hotel teams are receiving ongoing briefings and enhanced operating/cleaning protocols.
- We have increased the frequency of cleaning our public areas including lobbies, elevators, door handles, public bathrooms, change rooms, and even room keys.
- Additions to our normal high standard, cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean rooms after guests depart and before the next guest arrives have been increased, with particular attention paid to high-touch items.
- In the spaces where team members work behind the scenes, we have increased the frequency of cleaning and focusing on high-touch areas like team entrances, locker rooms, laundry rooms and staff offices.
- We will continue to adjust food and beverage service in accordance with current food safety recommendations.
- We have increased the deployment of antibacterial hand sanitizers throughout our properties.
Basic COVID19 procedure: When a Guest is Diagnosed with COVID-19
- Guests are required to inform the hotel reception of any symptoms they feel and will be instructed to take the next steps, which are essential for all other guests and employees who may have been exposed.
- We will isolate the guest and any person who may have been in close proximity to the infected individual, and ensure implementation of appropriate quarantine arrangements.
A guest diagnosed with the virus will be isolated in their room and monitored 24 hours a day. Inside the hotel there is a person who deals with health safety issues who will be the main contact person for the quarantined guest and through whom the delivery of all necessities in the form of food, liquids, and medicines will go. Guests and workers in a hotel are very frequently in close contact, and commonly touch the same surfaces and items. If one guest is diagnosed with COVID-19, there is a probability that others may have been infected as well. In that case, we will identify further measures necessary to maintain the security issue that is specific to our hotel, including closing or limiting the use of any amenity spaces or public areas such as gyms, pools, beaches, spas, restaurants, and bars. - We will hire a professional cleaner to sanitize affected areas of the hotel, and we will ensure that the cleaner is familiar with and complying with any guidelines or requirements from the NKT or other parties, including any governmental health or safety agencies with jurisdiction over the hotel.
- We will consider engaging with any governmental health or safety agencies with jurisdiction over the hotel. We will ask for their advice, safety/health requirements, and any available financial or other assistance.
